Healthy Eating












The Nutrition classes studied ways to eat healthy and why it's important. They then had to come up with a healthy recipe to cook and share with the class. After everyone tried the food, the groups had to explain why the recipe was a healthy choice. They also had to calculate how much fat and calories that were in each serving. They used www.calorieking.com to come up with the calories and fat. We also discussed the This or That book and learned what food items where better than others to eat at restaurants/fastfood places.
